The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour officially kicked off last night in New Orleans (as if I have to remind y’all), and the critics LOVED it! Here’s what they had to say:

“[It's a] big, huge, loud, funny, nonsensical three-ring affair… She looks great in her myriad of outfits, and she can still move with the best of them.” —MTV News

“…the show is a non-stop, exhilarating assault on the eyes, a visual extravaganza. There is a LOT that Britney does. She danced like she hasn’t danced in a very long time… and she seemed to be having a great time throughout the whole show. You could tell by the huge grin that appeared on her face throughout the evening. From flying sets, smoke, wind, pyro, this concert has it all.
